The Spa
The 35,000-square foot spa at Miraval offers one of the most ambitious menus of spa treatments in the world. The extensive list of options ranges from the traditional to the unusual ... all designed to soothe and relax the guests. Facilities at the spa include 300 treatment rooms, private meditation rooms, a Zen garden, a full salon, a boutique that stocks all of Miraval's special list of beauty products, a hydrotherapy suite, a wet steam room, a dry sauna, a private whirlpool, and mens' and womans' locker rooms. A daily spa treatment is included in the resort rates.

Miraval Spa sits on 135 acres in the midst of the Sonoran Desert, in the shadow of the Santa Catalina Mountains. In addition to the spa, Miraval offers a huge variety of activities and facilities. These include a state-of-the-art fitness center, three cascading spa pools, an Olympic-size lap pool, tennis courts, an equestrian center, a climbing wall, and an 18-hole golf course. The resort also offers hundreds of activities and classes throughout the week.
The resort also boasts a self-contained, luxurious conference center, complete with indoor and outdoor function space and a 118-seat theater.

Dining at Miraval combines delicious with an awakening of the senses. The resort uses pesticide-free, organic food in a variety of colors, textures, aromas, and flavors -- to please all of the senses. In addition, Miraval offers a variety of classes in nutrition, organic living, and weight management as well as cooking classes and demonstrations.
The resort's cocktail lounge, Brave Bill, offers cocktails, wine, beer, and light appetizers -- all with a view of the desert sunset.
Visiting Miraval
Miraval Spa is located about 40 minutes from Tucson airport and about two hours from the Phoenix airport. Rates at Miraval include roundtrip transportation between Tucson airport and the resort as well as luxury casita-style accommodations, complete use of the resort facilities, three gourmet meals daily including all non-alcoholic drinks, one round of golf or one spa treatment daily, and participation in a full daily schedule of fitness and wellness programs. Gratuities are not expected...or accepted.

Dress at Miraval is casual with "resort-chic" attire the norm for evenings. Shopping and alternate dining options are available within twenty minutes of the resort.
